Choir concert to celebrate a life

A CONCERT All in an April Evening. to celebrate the life of a former Rotarian and cathedral chorister will be presented by the cathedral choirs directed by Richard Tanner, the Band of the Salvation Army, directed by Eric Millest, and guest artists in Blackburn Cathedral on Wednesday, April 24 at 7.30pm.

The Rotary Club of Blackburn has organised the event to commemorate the life of Fred Green, who served the club for 61 years, and also to provide a music scholarship for a cathedral boy chorister.

Tickets for the concert are £5 including refreshments, available from the cathedral reception.
